Iddon was one of those rare people — full of quiet depth, warmth, and brilliance. He began with a promising career in football, but his love for English literature became his true calling. He was an exceptional teacher — deeply respected by everyone.
Always modest, never seeking attention, yet making a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Iddon shared a life of deep love and quiet joy with my little sister Catrin and Obi their adorable sausage dog. His bond with his parents, Dilys and Robert, was one of unwavering devotion, and he made them proud every single day.

He was gentle, clever, funny, and endlessly supportive — the kind of person who made the world feel safer and kinder just by being in it. He was a rock to our whole family, adored by our children, Jac, Celt, and Seren. Iddi's presence continues to guide us.

This space, and everything it becomes, carries his spirit in quiet tribute.
